Clifford Lewis is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Currenex. Clifford M. Lewis brings Currenex more than 25 years of experience in the international financial markets as well as a unique network of long-standing business relationships in over 30 countries.

Most recently, Mr. Lewis was the Chief Operating Officer of BRIDGE eMarkets, a unit of Bridge Information Systems responsible for wholesale financial market transactions. Prior to that, he was an executive with the CBOT and a Management Board Member for CBOT-EUREX Joint Venture, Inc., an alliance between two of the world's largest derivatives exchanges. From 1978 to 1991, Mr. Lewis was an executive with the World Bank Group, where he had various important strategic planning and operational assignments. He was also seconded to the US Agency for International Development (1988-1990). He worked for the Administrator and directed the Central and Eastern European aid program. His experience also includes managing strategy, restructuring and technology engagements at leading banks, exchanges and clearing houses and as a consulting partner at KPMG Peat Marwick where he developed over $200 million of technical assistance projects for commercial and government clients in Central and Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.
